Longan is a signature tropical fruit of Vietnam, with popular varieties such as Nhan Long in the North, and Tieu Da Bo, Xuong, and Edor in the South. Cho Lach (Ben Tre Province) is the largest longan-growing and exporting area in Southern Vietnam.
Chanh Thu successfully exported fresh longan to the U.S. in 2015 and has since increased export volumes annually. To ensure quality and supply, the company partners with GlobalGAP, VietGAP, and U.S. Code-certified growing areas.
Longan can be enjoyed fresh or dried. The fruit has a golden skin, thick juicy flesh, and a naturally sweet taste. Rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, longan supports digestion, improves blood circulation, enhances bone health, and helps protect eye health.
